ActivityIn September 1973 the Dealing and Accounts Office was merged with the Bullion Office to form a new office, the Gold and Foreign Exchange Office. During the reorganisation of the Bank in 1980, the responsibility for policy and management of the reserves passed to the Foreign Exchange Division. In September 1994 the Gold and Foreign Exchange Office merged with the Securities Office to form a single function, Customer Settlement Services under the Settlements Services function of the Market Services Division.
