Visiting the Archive

  • The Archive is open by appointment on Monday - Thursday from 10am until 4.30pm.

  • Researchers are advised to book well in advance and before making travel arrangements, as demand is high throughout the year and we cannot guarantee space will be available at short notice.

  • To book an appointment use one of the options listed on the Contact the Archive page.

  • Researchers must provide, in advance of their first visit, proof of identity, which may be a copy of the photograph page of their passport, national identity card or driving licence.
