Arpad Morotz - Deputy Agent, Greater London

Arpad MorotzArpad joined the Greater London Agency in December 2013.

Previously he worked at the Bank as an Economist. After he joined the Bank he was analysing credit conditions and contributed to the Bank’s Trends in Lending publication, specialising in lending to SMEs.

Later he worked for David Miles, member of the Monetary Policy Committee, researching various areas of monetary policy and the economy, for example housing in the UK; the transmission mechanism of monetary tools (eg ‘quantitative easing’); the effect of monetary policy on financial markets; optimal monetary policy settings under uncertainty.

Arpad is a nature lover and lives in Kent. In his free time he enjoys trail running, cross-country cycling and hiking.
