
Nils Blythe joined the Bank in March 2011 after a 22 year career at the BBC, where he held a series of senior roles as a correspondent and presenter.
The Public Communications and Information Division is responsible for media relations, the Bank's website, public enquiries and the Bank's museum.
In his early career Nils worked for the Consumers' Association and the Investors Chronicle magazine. He was educated at Ipswich School and Christ's College Cambridge. Interests include football, cricket, tennis, skiing and reading. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children.
