Warwick Jones
Finance Director, Bank of England
Warwick Jones became Finance Director of the Bank on 1 October 2006.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1976 and subsequently held senior financial roles at LloydsTSB, including Finance Director of Hill Samuel Bank, and Bradford & Bingley. He later became Group Finance Director of Leopold Joseph Holdings; his most recent position was Group Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer of Singer & Friedlander.
He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1972.
His external interests include theatre, cricket, football and baseball, as well as being the Treasurer of a national charity supporting parents.
