Research Donations Commitee

The Research Donations Committee (RDC) exists to:

  1. Give 'seed corn' support to research projects that are of interest to the Bank.
  2. Contribute to the cost of publications, conferences and similar events that are likely to lead to wider understanding of subjects of importance to the Bank. The Bank would usually expect to be one of a number of contributors rather than a sole sponsor.
  3. Provide financial support to organisations whose work is valued highly by the Bank and contributes to the pursuit of the Bank's purposes.

The RDC's funds are limited and it therefore rarely makes individual awards of more than £10,000. It does not, in general, support PHD research, and it does not support undergraduate or graduate studies. If you wish to apply for funding, please contact:
