Archive documents contains selected records from the Bank of England Archive. New content includes material related to the service of Bank staff in the First World War. The minutes of the Committee of Treasury and some of the other committees are available online for the first time. These include the Committee for Lawsuits and an important group of letters from prisoners prosecuted for forgery and circulating forged bank notes. More »
​Bank Publications pre-2006 contains back issues of some of the Bank’s key publications for the period up to 2005. These include the Annual Report from 1947, the Quarterly Bulletin from 1960, the Inflation Report from 1993 and the Financial Stability Report from 1996. Copies of these publications from 2006 onwards can be found on the main Publications page. More »

​Archive Publications contains a variety of historic published material produced by the Bank of England during the twentieth century. Publications include recruitment brochures, histories of the Bank of England and the Bank Picquet, and a Cartoon and Caricature exhibition guide issued by the Bank of England Museum. More »

​The War Gallery contains pictures of the War Memorial, commemorating members of Bank of England staff who were killed in both World Wars. It also includes images of the wall panels erected in the Bank, listing all staff who served and lost their lives in the First World War, with other images of the Bank during the two wars including a visit by King George V and Queen Mary in 1917.
