Historical Financial Stability Report

In the autumn of 1996 the Bank launched a new publication, the Financial Stability Review (FSR). Appearing twice a year, the FSR has highlighted developments affecting the stability of the financial system, and promoted the latest thinking on risk, regulation and market institutions.

Initially, the FSR was produced in conjunction with the Securities and Investments Board and then, from 1998, with the Financial Services Authority.

In 2006, to reflect a change in content and aims, the name was changed to the Financial Stability Report.

This page lists Financial Stability Reports from 1996 to 2005. For reports from 2006 see Related Links.
