Gaining and maintaining public confidence in the currency is a key role of the Bank of England and one which is essential to the proper functioning of the economy. The Bank provides a range of information material to help all cash users to identify genuine banknotes.
The following materials are available for you to download or order :
- Know Your Banknotes film on DVD or VHS – “take
a closer look” is a short film guide to checking your banknotes.
Running time 10 minutes. - Know Your Banknotes computer based training (CBT) course. This has been designed with professional cash handlers
in mind and contains additional information about security features and a short test.
Completion time is approximately 20 minutes.
