Who can attend CCBS events?

Our events are open to staff from central banks and financial regulatory bodies around the world who have obtained prior approval from their training department.

What does it cost to attend a CCBS event?

We provide tuition, along with lunches and some social activities, free of charge. Your organisation is responsible for your travel expenses, accommodation and daily living expenses whilst in London.

How many candidates from one organisation may participate in an event?

Almost all our events are oversubscribed and we have to turn applicants away; therefore, to be fair to all we can only accept one participant from any one organisation.

When can I apply for an event?

Applications open as soon as the prospectus is published on the Bank of England website and close 14 weeks before the event. As most events are oversubscribed and places are limited, we are not able to consider late or multiple applications.

If I have attended an event in the past can I apply again for another event?

Yes, if your training department decide that you are the most suitable candidate from your organisation to attend.

What do I need to do as a first time user?

To apply for an event, you need to register to create an account. Select ‘Log in’ from the left hand menu and complete the short registration form, using your official work email address. A password will then be emailed to you. Your registration should be confirmed within 24 hours but please allow additional time prior to a weekend or UK public holiday.

What is the username convention?

Your username is always your organisation’s email address.

Can I change my personal details, including my password?

Once you have logged in, you can update your account details using the “review or update your personal and/or login details” option. Please choose a password that cannot be easily guessed and keep it safe.

I have forgotten my password - what do I do?

Click the "request a password reminder" link on the ‘Log in’ page to receive an email with details of your password.

At what point can I make travel arrangements?

We advise that you do not book any travel arrangements before your application has been accepted. You will be informed by email whether your application has been successful at least two to three months before an event.

Do I need a visa to visit the UK?

Please visit the Gov.uk website to check if you need a UK visa.

Who can I contact if I have a problem?

Please email the Event Administration Team stating the problem and what you were trying to do when the error occurred.
