Open Door

The Bank of England and Museum will be open to visitors as part of the City of London Festival. 30-minute guided tours of parts of the Bank will include elegant hallways, corridors and meeting rooms, which visitors may have difficulty visualising as working areas at the hub of a busy central bank. The tour will also include Garden Court (weather permitting), the Governor’s office, the Committee Room (the room in which the Monetary Policy Committee have set Bank rate since 1997) and the Court Room (pictured).
