The Bank of England Museum tells the story of the Bank of England from its foundation in 1694 to its role today as the United Kingdom's central bank.

Opening hours
Monday - Friday - ​10.00am - 5.00pm (last entry 4.45pm).
24 & 31 December 2013 10.00am - 1.00pm. 
Closed at weekends and Public Bank Holidays.
Admission is Free. 

The Museum is generally open on the day of the Lord Mayor's Show in mid-November but please check the diary of events for details as this could be subject to change.
