Adults and children alike will enjoy the special exhibitions on the Bank’s history and work, featuring fascinating objects from our collections that are not usually on display.

28 October: Museums at NightA rare opportunity for an evening visit. As well as all the usual displays, there will be presentations on banknotes in the museum. Bank staff will also be on hand to answer questions about gold.Special event
12 November: Lord Mayor's ShowStep into the world of Ratty, Mole, Badger and Mr Toad. Professional face painters will transform young visitors into one of the well-known characters from ‘The Wind in the Willows’ by Kenneth Grahame, a former Secretary of the Bank of England.Special event
