FAQ
The
Museum welcomes disabled visitors and tries to overcome the
limitations of a historic building that does not provide easy
access for people with disabilities.
Portable ramps give wheelchair access to all areas of the Museum including the toilet for disabled visitors. There are hearing loops for use in the cinema. The main interactive video display has optional sub-titles.
Coaches and cars can stop briefly to set down and pick up outside the entrance to the Museum.
We would be grateful if visitors in wheelchairs could notify us in advance if they intend to visit the Museum so that we can set up the wheelchair ramps ahead of their arrival.
For further information and to notify us of your visit, please telephone the Education & Museum Group + 44 (0)20 7601 5545.
