The Bank of England Museum is located within the Bank of England
in the heart of the City of London. The entrance to the Museum
is in Bartholomew Lane, EC2R 8AH, which is off Threadneedle
Street. Admission
to the Museum, the temporary exhibitions and events is free
of charge.
The Museum is within easy walking distance from the following underground and railway stations and bus routes. For information about trains and buses see www.thetrainline.com or www.transportforlondon.gov.uk/buses
Underground Stations
Bank station on the Northern, Central, Waterloo & City lines and the Docklands Light Railway.
Monument, Cannon Street or Mansion House stations on the District and Circle lines.
Railway Stations
Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, Cannon Street (weekdays only).
Bus Routes
8, 11, 23, 25, 26, 47, 48, 133, 141, 149 and 242 stop in Threadneedle Street.
Coaches and Cars
