An interactive video tour explains what the Bank does to promote and maintain monetary and financial stability as its contribution to a healthy economy. Other topics covered are banknotes, gold and Europe. Visitors can chose what level of detail they want – a quick overview, a more detailed explanation or information linked to economic theory, which will appeal to students of economics and business in particular. Visitors can also have some fun dealing on a computer simulation of the US dollar / sterling foreign exchange market and using a dealing desk similar to those in use in the Bank.
