A free one-hour presentation on the role and functions of the Bank of England as the central bank of the United Kingdom. The presentation consists of a fifteen-minute film followed by a question and answer session in which the topics covered in the film can be explored in greater detail. The question and answer session can be tailored to meet the requirements of the group.
The presentations are particularly suitable for secondary school students studying economics and business studies, students in higher education and people with a business or financial background who would like a broad overview of the work of the Bank.
Presentations take place at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00. Groups must have a minimum of 15 people and a maximum of 45. A hearing loop is available.
