The economy is a key part of all our lives but young people probably have only a limited knowledge of what it is and how it relates to them. Made of Money is a short drama about two teenagers called Anita and Sam that explains in a simple and engaging way what the economy is, how it works, how it stays on track and its everyday relevance to teenagers. It covers the topic in an accessible style using examples and illustrations from daily life so that young people can easily relate the ideas to their own experiences. The film is followed by a question and answer session. This part of the presentation can be tailored to meet the individual requirements of the group.

This 60-minute presentation is designed to support aspects of teaching in several curriculum areas including Citizenship/PSHE/PSE; Work related learning and Enterprise Education; Work related education; Education for work; Education for employability; Economics and Business Studies.
