The Bank's First Premises in Threadneedle Street, 1734A free one-hour presentation giving a brief history of the Bank of England since its foundation in 1694 and describing the main role and functions of the Bank today. Questions are invited on all aspects of the Bank and its functions both past and present. The presentation is particularly suitable for visitors with a general interest in the Bank.

Presentations take place at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00. Groups must have a minimum of 15 people and a maximum of 45. A hearing loop is available.
