Resolvability Assessment Framework package – making bank resolution more transparent and successful

We would like to invite you to participate in a webinar hosted by Charlotte Gerken, Director, Prudential Policy and Sasha Mills, Executive Director, Resolution.

Date: Monday 14 January 2019
Time: 14:00

On Tuesday 18 December the Bank of England and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) published proposals to introduce a Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF) for banks, the final major piece of the UK’s framework that enables banks to fail in an orderly way.

The RAF package set out in these consultation papers is designed to make resolution more transparent, better understood and more successful by creating a common assessment framework across all firms.

We would like to invite you to participate in a webinar hosted by Charlotte Gerken, Director, Prudential Policy and Sasha Mills, Executive Director, Resolution.

Open to all interested parties, attendees will hear about the following:

  • The RAF including scope of application
  • The stylised resolution timeline and the barriers
  • The disclosure framework

The webinar will include a question and answer session and questions can be submitted in advance of the event to stakeholderrelations@bankofengland.co.uk.

The webinar will be held on 14 January at 2pm and will last approximately 60 minutes.

Registration is required: details can be found here. Once your registration is confirmed, you will be sent dial-in details.

The consultations will close on 5 April 2019.
