Overview
The Financial Policy Committee publishes a Financial Stability Report twice a year, which sets out the Committee’s view on the main risks to financial stability and assesses how prepared the financial system is to withstand those risks. The Report also summarises the FPC’s recent actions and their impact in enhancing the resilience of the UK financial system.
After each Financial Stability Report is published, our Agencies invite local businesses to briefing events across the UK. As well as an update on the latest news these sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, challenge the Bank and share views on the conditions and issues businesses and consumers are facing.
The briefing events are free but you need to register in advance. These briefings are strictly “off the record” and not available to journalists who can apply to attend the Governor’s press conference, or can watch the conference which is broadcast on YouTube.
