About the conference

On Thursday 27 April and Friday 28 April, the Bank of England will be holding its annual conference on the international spillovers of monetary policy, jointly organised with the Bank for International Settlements, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.

This year’s topic is “Policy challenges and international spillovers in times of high inflation”. The conference gathers theoretical and empirical contributions related to the international transmission of shocks, with a particular focus on the implications of supply-side shocks, global economic fragmentation, and the role of monetary and macroprudential policies for developed and emerging economies.
