This page provides information on the taxonomy for Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) firms as well as the Bank of England XBRL Taxonomy which should be used for regulatory submissions.
Bank of England Banking XBRL taxonomy v0.9.1
On Monday 9 January 2017 the Bank of England published a public working draft (PWD) of the Bank of England Banking XBRL Taxonomy v0.9.1 and related technical artefacts following PS32/16 'Responses to Chapter 3 of CP17/16 - forecast capital data'. The taxonomy, DPM dictionary, annotated templates and validation rules represent the requirements for Capital+ reporting as set out in PS32/16 (paragraph 1.8). Firms and software vendors are invited to provide feedback on the PWD of the technical artefacts to email@example.com by Monday 16 January 2017.
v1.0.0 of the above technical artefacts will be published by Tuesday 31 January 2017.
The Bank of England intends to provide Excel templates that can also be used for XBRL reporting in March 2017.
Please note the Bank of England will adopt the European Banking Authority (EBA) filing rules as published on the EBA website.
