Subject/Request Details:  A breakdown of the total amount spent for Governors’ Day 2014.

Date Released: 10 September 2014

Disclosure:

Governors’ Day is a long-held tradition that is open to all staff, including their families, with the aim of recognising their hard work and dedication.  Given the significant organisational change at the Bank over the past two years, this annual event remains an important touchstone for all staff, and the Bank strongly believes that this carefully budgeted event is worthwhile.

The table below provides a breakdown of the costs for ‘Governors’ Day’ (6 July) including the overall total.  The total costs were 24% lower than last year, whilst catering for more people.  3,200 tickets were issued, translating to a cost per head of around £30.
