Bank/FSA Conference on prudential regulation for insurance companies

Bank/FSA Conference on prudential regulation for insurance companies, 20 June 2011

On 20 June the Bank and FSA hosted a Conference on prudential regulation for insurance companies at the Brewery, Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4SD.

As part of the event the Bank and FSA published a joint paper, 'The Bank of England, Prudential Regulation Authority - Our approach to insurance supervision' together with speeches by Hector Sants and Julian Adams. The paper complements the work on banking supervision published on 19 May. It represents a significant milestone in thinking and looks to promote debate about the design of prudential regulation in the UK. The conference programme is provided below along with a link to the web stream of the event and key documents.
