Treasury Committee Hearings


Members of the Monetary Policy Committee and Financial Policy Committee give evidence on a regular basis before the House of Commons’ Treasury Committee.

In addition, Bank witnesses are sometimes asked to give evidence to, and appear before, other Parliamentary committees.

On 13 March 2013 the Treasury Committee heard evidence from Andrew Bailey regarding his appointment as the Deputy Governor for Prudential Regulation of the Bank of England.
