The Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations (SI 2005
No 1515) provide a framework for third parties to re-use information
which is accessible from public sector bodies, including the
Bank. There are certain limitations in the Regulations; in particular
they do not apply to computer programmes or to documents held
by the Bank, where a third party owns copyright or other intellectual
property rights in the document, nor do they apply to documents
held by the Bank's Archive.
Information , in respect of which copyright is owned by the
Bank of England and is available on the Bank’s website
(including its Freedom of Information Publication Scheme), is
available for re-use for the purposes, and subject to the terms
and conditions, set out in the website copyright notice and
in the notice for the Statistical Interactive Database.
Requests for any further usage (eg reproduction of Bank website
material for commercial purposes or re-use of other Bank material
which is not on the website) should be in writing, specifying
your name and address for correspondence, the information to
be re-used and the purpose for which it is to be re-used and
