January - June 2008

2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008

Total number of requests received (note 1)

Notes:

  1. The Freedom of Information Act (FoI) does not require requests for information to specify the FoI Act, nor does it require the Bank to specify that requests for information are sent to a nominated contact point in the Bank. Many requests for information are routinely made to the Bank which now fall within the criteria of the Act and are handled accordingly. The Bank has adopted a system that allows its business areas to deal with certain routine requests for information that arise in the normal course of their activities but requires them to refer other requests (and those made under the Environmental Information Regulations) that meet certain criteria to its Public Information and Enquiries area for consideration . The total number of requests shows those referred centrally only.
  2. In cases were a public interest test is applied the FoI Act allows for a longer response time.
