Gilt-Edged Auctions: October to December 1997

The announcement on 30 September 1997 of the stocks to be auctioned in the third quarter of the 1997-98 financial year indicated that the date of the November auction would be reviewed when the date of the "Green Budget" was known. Following the announcement that the Budget will be held on 25 November 1997, the auction scheduled for Wednesday, 26 November 1997 will be postponed until Wednesday, 10 December 1997. Details of the stock and the amount to be auctioned will be announced at 3.30pm on Tuesday, 2 December 1997.
