Dates for Monetary Policy Committee Meetings and Publication of the Inflation Report in 1998

The Bank of England has today announced the dates of both the Monetary Policy Committee meetings and the publication of the Inflation Report in 1998.
As with the majority of the meetings this year, the Committee (MPC) will meet every month on the Wednesday and Thursday following the first Monday of each month. Decisions of the MPC will continue to be announced at 12 noon immediately following the Thursday meeting. The announcement of the outcome will be made on the wire services' Bank of England pages.
The dates for the announcements of the MPC decisions in 1998 are:

The Bank of England's Inflation Report will be published in February, May, August and November on the Wednesday following the MPC meeting in that month.
