Dates for Monetary Policy Committee Meetings and Publication of the Inflation Report in 1999

The Bank of England has today announced the dates of both the Monetary Policy Committee meetings and the publication of the Inflation Report in 1999.
As with the meetings this year, the Committee (MPC) will normally meet every month on the Wednesday and Thursday following the first Monday of each month. The two exceptions to this in 1999 will be in March and September, when the MPC will meet on the Tuesday and Wednesday following the first Monday of those months. Decisions of the MPC will continue to be announced at 12 noon on the day the meeting ends. The announcement of the outcome will be made on the wire services' Bank of England pages.
The dates for the announcements of the MPC decisions in 1999 are:
- Thursday 7 January
- Thursday 4 February
- Wednesday 3 March
- Thursday 8 April
- Thursday 6 May
- Thursday 10 June
- Thursday 8 July
- Thursday 5 August
- Wednesday 8 September
- Thursday 7 October
- Thursday 4 November
Following a separate announcement earlier today, the minutes of the MPC meetings will be published on the second week after the meetings take place. The Bank of England's Inflation Report will be published in February, May, August and November on the Wednesday following the MPC meeting in that month.
The dates for the publication of the Inflation Report in 1999 are:

- Wednesday 10 November
