2 1/2% INDEX-LINKED TREASURY STOCK 2003
In accordance with the terms of the prospectus dated 22 October 1982, the Bank of England announces that the rate of interest payable on the above stock for the interest payment due on 20 May 2003 will be £2.8187 per £100 nominal of stock. The amount due on repayment, also on 20 May 2003, will be £225.5011 per £100 nominal of stock.

In accordance with the terms of the prospectus dated 19 October 1982, the Bank of England announces that the rate of interest payable on the above stock for the interest payment due on 20 May 2003 will be £2.8187 per £100 nominal of stock.
