Appointment at the Bank of England

Louise Redmond has been appointed as Human Resources Director at the Bank of England. She will take up the appointment in February 2004.

Louise Redmond is 46. She read pharmacology at Bristol University and completed a MBA at Warwick University. Since 2001 Ms Redmond has held a senior HR position at GlaxoSmithKline plc. Previously she has been HR Director at SmithKline Beecham plc and a senior consultant in the KPMG HR practice.
