The Al-Qa'ida And Taliban (United Nations Measures) Order 2002

This news release is issued in respect of the financial measures taken against Al-Qa'ida and the Taliban.
The Bank of England, as agent for Her Majesty's Treasury, issues this news release to advise that on 4 December 2003 the United Nations Sanctions Committee added a further individual to the UN Consolidated List maintained under Resolution 1390 (2002). The individual therefore falls within the UK financial sanctions regime under the Al Qa'ida and Taliban (United Nations Measures) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/111, as amended by S.I.2002/251).
