Financial Sanctions: Terrorist Financing

This news release is issued in respect of the financial measures taken against terrorism.

The Bank of England, as agent for Her Majesty's Treasury, today publicises generally four directions given by Her Majesty's Treasury, which vary with immediate effect the previous direction given on 11 August 2006 so as to remove four individuals from it.

The individuals set out in the Annex to this News Release are therefore no longer designated for the purposes of the Terrorism (United Nations Measures) Order 2001.

As a result, the individuals have been removed from the consolidated list.
