Monetary Policy Committee Meeting
8 October 2008
Following today's special meeting of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee, the scheduled meeting for 8-9 October has been cancelled. Therefore, there will be no announcement on 9 October.
As announced in the statement released earlier today, the minutes of the meeting held today will be published at 9.30am on Wednesday 22 October.
The next scheduled MPC meeting will take place on 5-6 November with an announcement at 12 noon on 6 November.
