MPC Annual Reports | Financial Stability | Other papers
The Treasury Committee and the Monetary Policy Committee have agreed that MPC members will produce a short annual report ahead of Treasury Committee hearings. This will be on a selective basis determined by the Treasury Committee.
The reports are to further enhance accountability of individual MPC members, and to facilitate the hearings with the Treasury Committee.
In their reports, each MPC member reviews and explains their interest rate votes over the past year, their views on the economic and inflation outlook and details of their speeches, regional visits, and other activities.
