As part of the Bank’s aims to be more open and to create an environment that stimulates challenge and debate, we run a series of events where we can engage with the wider research community and experts from beyond research.
Our flagship seminars are presentations by high-profile speakers, mostly from disciplines outside of economics and finance. They present their work and ideas, drawing out the relevance for central banks, the economy and the financial system.
These events are open to the public on a first-come first-served basis, and we aim to make them available to watch on our YouTube channel.
We run a programme of conferences and smaller workshops in collaboration with leading institutions from across the globe, to debate some of the most important questions facing central banks.
We use our weekly seminars to engage with the academic community on a variety of research and policy topics.
For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org. These seminars are closed to the press.
