Provisional figures for February indicate that M4 rose by £28.8 billion, seasonally adjusted; above the average flow for the previous six months of £34.8 billion. The twelve-month growth rate rose to 18.8% from 17.4% in January.
M4 lending increased by £21.7 billion or 0.9%, seasonally adjusted, in February. The twelve-month growth rate remained at 12.0%.
M4 lending excluding the effects of securitisations etc and loan transfers increased by £28.0 billion, seasonally adjusted, in February. The twelve-month growth rate rose to 15.3% from 15.1% in January.
