Housing Equity Withdrawal (HEW)
Q3 2009
The Bank of England estimate for HEW for 2009 Q3 is -£4.9 billion. The negative figure implies that individuals injected a net total of £4.9 billion into housing equity in the third quarter. That compares with a revised estimate of a net injection into housing equity of £6.9 billion in 2009 Q2.
