Provisional figures for April indicate that, seasonally adjusted, notes and coin in circulation were on average 0.3% higher than a month earlier. The twelve-month growth rate fell to 4.9%, from 5.2% in March.
Total M0 (including banks' operational deposits as well as notes and coin) increased by 0.2%, seasonally adjusted, in April. The twelve-month growth rate fell to 4.8%, from 5.1% in March.
