Provisional estimates of narrow money

Provisional figures for March indicate that, seasonally adjusted, notes and coin outstanding were on average 0.1% higher than a month earlier. The twelve-month growth rate fell to 5.2%, from 5.9% in February.

Total M0 (including banks' operational deposits as well as notes and coin) increased by 0.2%, seasonally adjusted, in March. The twelve-month growth rate fell to 5.2%, from 5.9% in February.
