Provisional estimates of broad money (M4)
and credit (M4 lending)
March 2007
The Bank is currently running a consultation about the future of this release. The proposal is to cease publication of provisional broad money and credit data, although the final data would still be published alongside the sectoral data in the later release, as at present. There would therefore be no actual loss of data for users. For more information see: http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/statistics/ms/articles/art2mar07.pdf Subscribers are asked to provide comments on this proposal via email to mfsd_ms@bankofengland.co.uk.
