Monetary
and bank/building
society statistical releases From the publication of January 2010 data in Bankstats on 1st March 2010, the Bank will no longer publish separate statistics for banks and building societies. From this point only data series for a combined monetary and financial institutions (MFIs) sector will be published. This change is being introduced to avoid disclosure of individual institution’s data following recent changes within the building societies sector. For more information see the Bankstats article "Changes to the Publication of Bank and Building Societies Statistics" published on 1st February 2010. |
