Provisional estimates of narrow money
(notes & coin) and reserve balances
September 2006

Provisional figures for September indicate that, seasonally adjusted, notes and coin in circulation were on average 0.2% higher than in August. The twelve-month growth rate rose to 5.1% from 5.0% (5.1%) in August.
