Published on 02 December 2019

1. Discontinuation of form VP

Following the Form VP consultation noted in Green Notice 2019/04, the collection of Form VP has been discontinued with immediate effect.

The December 2019 submission is no longer required.

The Securitisation SPV and Covered Bond LLP lists will no longer be updated, but the current lists will continue to be accessible on the website.

We would like to thank our reporters for their contribution to this collection.

If you have any queries relating to this please contact DSD.Compliance@bankofengland.co.uk.

2. Publication of Form AS/FV taxonomy version 1.1.0 public working draft (PWD)

On 2 December 2019 the Bank of England published a public working draft (PWD) of version 1.1.0 of the Form AS/FV taxonomy, alongside related technical artefacts and a change log. These documents can be found on the New and upcoming forms page.

The taxonomy, data point model (DPM) dictionary, annotated templates and validation rules have been updated to fix a number of bugs identified in the original taxonomy and make reporting more robust. Many of the validations have been updated and changed from non-blocking to blocking, and several optional URI fields have been added.

The full list of changes can be found in the change log that has been published alongside the PWD.

We invite feedback, particularly from reporting firms and software vendors, on the PWD of the taxonomy and DPM artefacts by Friday 13 December 2019. We aim to publish the final version of the updated AS/FV XBRL taxonomy in early 2020. As stated in SN 2019/05, it is envisioned that the new taxonomy will come into effect from Q1 2020 (reporting of which is deferred until summer 2020).

If there are any questions relating to the PWD please contact uktaxonomypwdfeedback@bankofengland.co.uk. For queries regarding the collections more generally please contact DSDSecurities@bankofengland.co.uk for Form AS related queries or DSDPLteam@bankofengland.co.uk for Form FV related queries.
