OSCA to BEEDS migration

OSCA decommissioning

We can confirm OSCA (production and pre-production environments) has been decommissioned wef 1st December 2022. All statistical data must now be submitted in an XBRL format via BEEDS.

OSCA website

Forms Definitions and Validations website has been renamed to Statistical Reporting. Any references to OSCA have been updated to BEEDS.

Published reporting guidance

To reflect the change in reporting method from OSCA to BEEDS, the following amendments have been made to the documents published on Statistical Reporting website:

General notes and definitions – references to OSCA updated to BEEDS, updated hyperlinks and acronyms, updated the active form list, reporting in £ thousands updated to reporting in units, added table/row data point model references beside the legacy OSCA box codes/items.

Policy and procedures on confidentiality of data – references to OSCA updated to BEEDS.

Classification of accounts guide – references to OSCA updated to BEEDS, updated hyperlinks and acronyms, updated the active form list, updated list of countries and country codes, added table/row data point model references beside the legacy OSCA box codes/items.

Reporting thresholds for statistical returns – as announced in the Statistical Notice 2022/16, this document has been updated with data point references: tables, rows and columns.
