Welcome to the UK International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity Template webpage. The data available on these pages cover the foreign currency assets and liabilities of the UK Government and the Bank of England.
As a result of recent quality assurance, the valuation of SDR-related assets and liabilities has been found to be incorrect. This issue relates to data from January 2001 to July 2004 inclusive and back data for this period have now been revised. As part of the ongoing process to improve the dissemination of the reserves data, it has been decided to present the back data as a time series. There is no reduction in the amount of data being made available and users should find it a much easier format to interrogate. In addition to the time series, we will continue to provide monthly data sheets and quarterly currency breakdowns for back data over a rolling 12 month period.
Next Publication
The data will be updated at 9.30am on the third working day of every month.
