DescriptionConveyance by the Wardens and Commonalty of the Mistery of the Grocery of the City of London, to the Bank of England (in consideration of the payment of £5000 (viz £2740 to Walwin Gascoigne, of London, merchant and £2260 to Sarah Foster, widow and executrix of the will of John Foster 'by the direction and for the proper debts of the said Wardens and Commonalty') of their Manor 'of the Grocers' lying within the Barony of Annagh, County Londonderry in Ulster, and other of their properties in Ireland (given in great detail) - the rectory and tithes of Farden, County Montgomery - and the rectory of St Austell, County Cornwall: to hold the same for a term of 1000 years at a perppercorn rent, subject to a Deed of Defeazance, of equal date made between the Governor etc of the Bank and Michael Godrey, Sir Henry Furness, William Scawen and John Lordell of the one part and the said Wardens of the other part.
