This release contains gross and net issuance by UK residents, split by instrument and economic sector.
- Gross capital issuance by UK residents was £41.7bn in June 2017, £2.2bn higher than in May and £4.2bn higher than the previous six months average.
- Net capital issuance by UK residents was £4.5bn in June, £0.6bn higher than in May and £3.0bn higher than the previous six months average.
- PNFC gross bond issuance was £6.0bn in June, £2.4bn higher than in May and £2.9bn higher than the previous six months average. This is the highest level of issuance seen since September 2016 and the second highest June on record.
